Television - 
Strength - 

• Good at making content that could feature on a TV programme.
• Good at creating storylines and characters. 
• Creating technical stories that could create a sense of mystery. 

Weaknesses - 

• Videoing. 
• Directing people in what actions to take next. 
• Making a script for the programme. 

Opportunities - 

• Have a school setting to film it in. 
• Have lots of people that could feature in the programme. 

Threats - 

• Only have one institution that it could be filmed in (school) so therefore may make stroyline boring and simplistic. 
• Budget limitations. 

Magazines - 

Strength - 

• Editing photos. 
• Taking still shots. 
• Making products look superior and of good quality. 
• Good at branding products. 
• Good at colour scheming the brand to the marketing of the product. So, that it creates a link. 

Weaknesses - 

• Applying it the target audience. 

Opportunities - 

• People to model with the product. 
• Editing systems to create the magazine cover. 
• A variety of products that can used.

Threats - 

• May have problems loading the pictures onto the computer. 

Music Videos - 

Strength - 

• Can come up with creative scenes to feature in the video.
• can create scenes linking to the lyrics of the song. 

Weaknesses - 

• Videoing and audio content.
• Putting the music onto the video content.
• Miming the words.

Opportunities - 

• Have a large variety of songs to chose from as in the pop genre. 
• People who could feature in the video. 

Threats - 

• Miming may be hard to match the part of the song. 
• Song may be hard to download onto the computer to put onto the scenes. 

Why I want to do a magazine cover - 
I would like to do a magazine cover for my own piece of media as I feel although making a magazine cover will play to my strengths more. My strengths are taking still photos and editing them in a way that makes the products look superior and of good quality. I feel that if I had to do any of the other briefs I would not achieve as high of a grade as my videoing and audio skills are not of a high enough standard to achieve the grade that I want to achieve overall.
